The fact that the Windows desktop exists in Windows RT really blows my mind. It’s only purpose is to run Office. You’re telling me that since the iPad’s release in 2010, Microsoft couldn’t recreate a version of Office that was 100% designed for touch and ARM devices? Are you kidding me? All I can do is shake my head thinking about it. All the money they have, all the time, and they still had to release a tablet OS that has a Windows desktop mode just to run Office. I can’t get over it.
