LG rzekomo wstrzymuje produkcję Nexusa 4 →

The International Business Times reported that the Nexus 4 has fallen down LG’s priority list and the company is now focusing on the development and production of its future smartphones.

LG took the stage at the Consumer Electronics Show this past week but rather than announcing new mobile devices, the company suggested that it was planning a big announcement at next month’s Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona, Spain. LG Electronics senior vice president James Fisher said that the company’s Nexus 4 smartphone is just “the first of many” Nexus products it is working on, hinting that it may be secretly developing another smartphone or tablet for Google.

Ta cała plotka śmierdzi na kilometr. Google musiało z LG podpisać umowę i to zapewne nie jedną, więc powód, że „Nexus 4 przestał być priorytetem dla LG” jest co najmniej dziwny. To, że ta firma produkuje również własne telefony jest normalne i raczej nie ma tutaj o czym pisać. Co do drugiej części cytatu – MWC zawsze było zancznie bardziej atrakcyjnym miejscem dla prezentacji nowych produktów niż CES. Co do zasugerowania, że LG pracuje nad kolejnymi modelami Nexusów – bardzo się z tego powodu cieszę, ponieważ sam kupiłem Nexusa 4 i już dzisiaj mogę zdradzić, że to najlepszy Android jakiego można znaleźć. Ale to czy dostanie również ode mnie tytuł najlepszego smartfona dopiero się okaże …
