Last week I had an awesome opportunity to visit one of 150 Art of Shaving stores in the U.S. on the Upper West Side of New York. As you walk in you are greeted to the wide array of grooming products on display. From their beautiful handcrafted razors, shaving tools, and beard oils to the full line of skin care products including shampoo, conditioner, and face wash they have everything a guy could need. Head to the back of the store and you’ll find the Barber Spa and be instantly transported to what seems like a forgotten time when artisans ruled the land. The old style barber chairs, tile floor, and wood cabinets are enhanced by the smells of shaving cream and beard oils to create the perfect atmosphere. While in the Barber Spa I got to observe one of the Master Barbers, Jon, practice his craft on one of the customers.
