Dlaczego powinieneś się martwić nowym TOS Facebooka →

3 grudnia 2014 · 14:51

Rob Waugh dla Metro:

The new T&Cs contains some alarming details on the sheer quantity of data Facebook is collecting on its users – in particular GPS data tracking every user from devices such as smartphones.

There is no way to opt out of this – unless you stop using Facebook.

Na szczęście Facebook sam serwuje rozwiązanie:

For users, there’s not a great deal of choice: Facebook itself suggests you either Deactivate your account or Delete it altogether if you don’t like the new conditions.

Prawnik ocenia nowe zapisy w TOS Facebooka →

Michael Grothaus w rozmowie z Maninder Gillem:

Out of all the TOS I have dealt with in 20 years, Facebook’s are the most intrusive. To be granted rights to track an individual’s movements, and thus the people that would be with those individuals, and to potentially commercially exploit without permission all pictures posted on Facebook without specific consent, is breath-taking.

Dropbox zmienia TOS; odbiera domyślnie możliwość oddania sprawy do sądu →

Tiffany Baxendell Bridge:

No matter what they do (delete your data, privacy breach, overcharging, whatever), you don’t get to sue. Instead, THEY get to choose the arbitrator according to whatever criteria they want, and thus any dispute is decided by someone they’re paying.
