Gdzie Apple nie może tam prawników pośle. Przekonał się o tym serwis streamingu muzyki Tidal będący konkurencją dla Apple Music. Platforma musiała ugiąć się pod żądaniami giganta z Cupertino, gdy ten zagroził pozwem sądowym opiewającym na kwotę 20 mln dolarów.

A tymczasem menedżer Drake’a twierdzi, że Apple wcale nie zagroziło nikomu pozwem:

“The decision to not have Drake participate in the Tidal steam has nothing to do with Apple or Drake’s deal,” Drake’s manager Future the Prince told BuzzFeed News. “Point blank, 100%. I made a business decision. Apple doesn’t have the power to stop us from being part of a live stream. The only people that have the power to do that are Cash Money and Universal, and they’re our partners.”

Nie rozumie też dlaczego Tidal zdecydował się opublikować takie tweety. Tłumaczy też dlaczego podjął taką a nie inną decyzję dla swojego klienta:
